About
Rooted work, forward motion.
Founder
Abdirahman “Grey” Jama
Grey is a QA automation engineer and full-stack developer. Before software was the product, it was the thing he broke for a living, professionally, methodically, on purpose. That background shapes how Red Sands works: nothing ships untested, nothing ships fragile, and the goal is never just “it works today.”
Red Sands Technologies exists to bring that same rigor to organizations that don’t usually get access to it: nonprofits, founders, and small teams who need software built right the first time, at a price that doesn’t assume they have an agency budget.
Where the Name Comes From
Roots carried forward
The name comes from a homeland that has carried its character through generations of hardship without losing it: red sand terrain, weathered, resilient, still standing. Red Sands Technologies is built the same way. Advanced technology that feels like it has lived somewhere a long time, not something thrown up overnight and glowing for attention.
Mission
We exist to make good software accessible to any business, not just the ones who can afford agency rates. A vibecoded app or a drag-and-drop AI builder can get you online fast, but you’re renting the result: keep paying the monthly fee or lose what you built, and hit a wall the moment your needs outgrow the template. We build real, custom software instead. What we build, you own outright. No monthly platform fee required just to keep your own site running, built with the same discipline as an engineer who tests before shipping, so it still works long after launch.
Vision
To be proof that quality and fair pricing aren’t opposites in software consulting. Red Sands Technologies carries the resilience of where it comes from into how it builds: work that holds up under real use, priced so any business can reach it, not just the ones who can already afford an agency.
